Letter from our Life Member abroad

Wanted to send a quick note to all of you to let you know you have not been forgotten.  I got the notice about Seok Hui's death and wanted to express my sympathies to all her family and friends.

I apologise for not expressing them sooner but my daughter got married and we had the wedding in the garden here at home.  Took a lot of planning and I was remiss in responding to everyone.

We are now settled in New York out on Long Island.  I have rejoined my old branch of the American Association of University Women and am so happy to still be a life member of UWAS.  If anyone is every in New York I would love to host you and introduce you to the AAUW members here in Huntington.

We are about an hour and 15 minutes by train from New York City and it is pretty rural here.  It is a big change from the hustle and bustle of Singapore and then Hong Kong and I miss being able to get on a bus or train and go where I want.  Out here you must have a car.

I send all of you  my best wishes and look forward to hosting you in New York.
